Tantalize your taste buds to the smoky flavours of chargrilled bell peppers in this mouthwatering pasta dish. Make this simple yet delicious recipe with chargrilled bell peppers, olives, garlic, tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, Del Monte Spaghetti, and parmesan cheese.


2 cups Cooked Delmonte Spaghetti
1 Red Bell Pepper
1 Yellow Bell Pepper
1 Green Capsicum
1 Small Onion finely sliced
4 Garlic cloves minced
1 Red Chilli chopped
2 Red Tomatoes chopped
8 Green Olives
1/2 tsp Castor Sugar
- Salt & Pepper to taste
2 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Fresh Basil Leaves or chopped Cilantro
2 tablespoon Grated Cheese


  1. Grill red & yellow bell pepper and capsicum on stove, turning regularly until charred. Transfer the charred peppers on a plate and stand for 5 minutes to lift and peel the skin. Chop and keep aside.
  2. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti as directed in the packet. Heat oil in a large frying pan and saute onion, garlic and chilli, stirring, for 2 minutes or until aromatic.
  3. Add olives and stir for 2 minutes and add tomato, chopped capsicum and bell peppers and castor sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes or until it thickens slightly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped cilantro or fresh basil leaves.
  5. Add grated cheese before serving, plate it and serve hot.
