Make this delicious lunch/ dinner recipe with Del Monte Chifferi Rigati pasta, olive oil, garlic cloves, back pepper, chili flakes, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil leaves, and Del Monte tomato & basil sauce. Serve this dish with a side of green salad. 


1 cup Delmonte Tomato and basil sauce
2 cup Delmonte Chifferi Rigati
1 TBSP Olive Oil
1 tsp extra
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 dried red chilies flakes
1 onion Salt to taste
- Fresh Basil leaf
1 tbsp mozzarella cheese, grated


  1. Bring 2 liter of water to boil. Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and saute for a minute. Add chopped onions and cook until onions turn translucent. 
  2. Add Delmonte tomato basil sauce to the pan and cook on low flame for few minutes.  Add Delmonte Chifferi rigati pasta to boiling water and cook as per packet instructions.  Remove pasta from water and add it to the pan. Add seasoning salt, pepper powder, and red chili flakes. Toss well.  
  3. Transfer the pasta to the serving plate, garnish with a fresh basil leaf. Sprinkle grated cheese. 
  4. Serve immediately.
