Chifferi Rigati In Cheese Sauce 

A simple and scrumptious pasta dish loaded with cheese. Enjoy this creamy delicacy, made with yummy Del Monte Chifferi Rigati, hot with garlic toasties.


2 cups Del Monte Chifferi Rigati
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp All-purpose Flour
2 1/2 Cups Milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated mozzarella cheese
¼ tsp sage leaves
some salt & pepper as per taste
for garnish Sage leaves, dried oregano, chilli flakes


  1. To begin with, boil the Del Monte Chifferi Rigati Pasta as per packet instructions.

  2. While the pasta is boiling you can start with the creamy sauce. In a pan, melt the butter. Add flour and mix very well, making sure there are no lumps.

  3. Then add milk and whisk thoroughly until it’s blended. Simmer this for a minute.

  4. Add sage, cream cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese to the saucy mix. Season it with a dash of salt and pepper. Cook for another minute until all the cheese melts and it’s rich and creamy.

  5. You’re almost done. Just add the boiled pasta and toss everything together. Transfer this to a bowl and serve it hot, garnished with some oregano, chilli flakes and sage.
