Cranberry Orange Scones
These crumbly scones with a pop of Del Monte Dried Cranberries are so devilishly delicious. Especially, when the orange glaze soaks into all the cracks and gives you a citrusy blast in every bite!
Ingredients
2/3 Cup | milk |
2 Cups | All purpose Flour (Maida) |
1 Tsp | Baking Powder |
40 gm | Cold Butter (cubed) |
1 tbsp | sugar |
1 tbsp | orange zest |
1/2 cup | Del Monte Dried Cranberries |
1 tbsp | milk (to brush on top of scones) |
Method
- Start by getting the dough ready. Mix the flour, baking powder and sugar together.
- Then, use your hands to break in the cold butter. Brr!
- Make a small well in the centre and add some milk to the cavity.
- Time to add the zingy orange zest and mix until it’s nicely blended.
- Let’s bring in the star of the show! Transfer the dough on a lightly floured surface and add DelMonte dried cranberries on top.
- Use your hands to slightly flatten the dough.
- Now using a cookie cutter cut out the scones carefully and brush the top with some milk.
- Bake at 200 degrees C for 12-15 minutes and you’re done! It’s that easy.
Happy munching!
