CREAMY DESI CROUTONS

These Creamy Desi Croutons from Del Monte can be had with a hearty bowl of soup during one of those rainy evenings. Ah, they’re a class apart.  

Ingredients

4 Left Over Bread
1/4 Cup DelMonte Whole Corn Kernel
2 TBSP DelMonte Tandoori Spread
1 TBSP DelMonte Pomace Olive Oil
2 TBSP DelMonte Egg Less Mayonnaise
- Fresh Coriander (Chopped)
- Crushed Black Pepper
- Salt To Taste

Method

  1.  Cut each bread in 1/2 " squares.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on bread and mix them well. Make sure they are evenly coated.
  3. Now place a deep bottomed pan over a medium flame and heat pomace olive oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add bread pieces in oil and fry till golden brown and crisp.
  4. Transfer the croutons in a plate lined with absorbent paper to soak the excess oil.
  5. Mix croutons with corn kernels and arrange it on a plate. Drizzle with tandoori spread & mayonnaise on top of it.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.

Chef s Tip: You can mix the croutons with the sauces as well and serve.

Variations: You can use Pizza Pasta Sauce to top it on croutons as well. For garnish sliced olives also can be used.
