MEXICAN PILAAF
Make this fusion Mexican Pilaf recipe with leftover rice, Del Monte baked beans, Del Monte pizza pasta sauce, bell peppers, garlic, lemon juice, and fresh cilantro.
Ingredients
125 | Steam Rice (Left Over) |
25 | Gram Del Monte Baked Beans (Optional) |
1 | TBSP Del Monte Pizza Pasta Sauce |
10 | Gram Onion Chopped |
10 | Gram Green Capsicum (Small Dice) |
5 | Gram Garlic (Chopped) |
5 | Gram Cilantro (Chopped) |
1/2 | TBSP Cumin Powder |
1/4 | TBSP Red Chili Powder |
2-3 | Ml Lemon Juice |
1 | TBSP cooking oil |
- | salt and pepper to taste |
Method
- Heat oil in a vessel,add garlic,onion cook until onions are softened and translucent.
- Add Del Monte Baked Beans,Pizza Pasta Sauce, capsicum,red chilli powder,cumin powder,lemon juice cook for about 3-4 minutes.
- Add leftover rice,check the seasoning. Cover it with a led and cook it on low flame for about 5 minutes.
- Garnish it with chopped cilantro.
Chef's Tips : You can add vegetable stock to enhance the flavour.
Variation : You can add tri pepper,brocoli,zucchni,Del Monte Whole Corn Kernel.
