For children and adults alike, pizzas undoubtedly hold a soft corner in everyone’s hearts. Made with the flavorful Del Monte sauce and soft olive and corn kernels, this recipe will surely appeal to your indulgent cravings.
7-inches whole wheat pizza base
Del Monte Pizza pasta sauce
Mozzarella cheese (grated)
Fresh basil leaves
Kg refined flour
ml Del Monte Extra Virgin Olive Oil
ml Lukewarm water
Gm Dry Yeast
Start off by preheating the oven at 220 degrees C.
Now to prepare your perfect pizza, take a base and slather the DelMonte pizza sauce generously on it.
Alternatively to create your own Dough mix yeast, sugar, salt with 200ml of lukewarm water and keep aside.
Take refined flour and add yeast-salt-sugar water in it to make a dough. Slowly add in the remaining water to form the pizza dough
Add in Del Monte Extra Virgin Olive Oil and knead the dough properly, ensuring the oil is incorporated in the dough
Knead well and keep aside covering it with a damp cloth for proofing.
Let it sit for 15-20 mins at room temperature.
Once the dough rises to double the size, portion out the dough into pizza balls of equal size.
On flat surface dust some refined flour, With the help of a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a pizza base.
Once rolled out, with the help of the fork puncture the pizza base and keep it aside.
In a preheated oven, pre-bake the pizza base for 5-8mins.
Once the pizza base is prebaked allow it to cool down before using it.
Once your Base is ready.
Sprinkle some torn basil leaves, oregano and chilli flakes. Then finally top it evenly with mozzarella cheese.
Bring in the star ingredients- olives, corn kernels and yellow peppers and sprinkle them all over the base. The more lavish you are with the topping, the more enjoyable your pizza is.
it’s time to bake! Put your pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the base turns crisp and the cheese melts.
Then carefully take the pizza out.
Cut yourself a generous slice, and dig into the melting cheese!
