Olive Crostini
This yummy snack is as fun to make as it is to munch on. Crusty fresh bread topped with tangy Del Monte Olives will instantly lift your spirits.
Ingredients
4-5 | garlic cloves, sliced |
1/2 | cup Del Monte Black Pitted Olives |
1/2 | cup Del Monte Stuffed Green Olives |
2 | TBSP Lime Juice |
2 | TBSP Lime Zest |
1/4 | cup Del Monte Olive Oil |
1 | TBSP Crushed Black Pepper |
2-3 | TBSP Chopped Parsley Or Any Other Herb Of Choice |
1 | TBSP Preserved Capers (Optional) |
- | Toasted Bread Slices To Serve |
- | Salt To Taste |
Method
- Toss in the Del Monte Olives with capers (if using) and garlic into a food processor. Blend it till it’s all smooth and creamy.
- Wait. The mixing doesn’t end there. In a bowl combine the olive blend with lime juice, zest, black pepper (Careful. You might feel the sneezes coming pretty soon), salt and olive oil.
- Stir away for an even blend of flavours.
Spread on a slice of toasted bread, garnish with chopped parsley and chomp on your homemade delicacy.
