One Pot Pasta With Olives & Mushrooms 

Slurp on Del Monte Spaghetti with grilled tomato & mushroom, a one-pot meal that’s not just tasty, but a healthy option for kids too! It can also be a great addition to your brunch party menu.


4-5 mushrooms (sliced)
2-3 tomatoes
2 cups Del Monte Whole Wheat Spaghetti
6 cloves garlic chopped
2-3 TBSP Lemon Juice
- Black Olives For Garnish (Sliced)
- Salt To Taste
1.5 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1.5 TBSP Red Pepper (Crushed)


  1. Boil the velvety Del Monte Whole Wheat Spaghetti according to the package directions. Add a little olive oil and a pinch of salt to prevent the pasta from sticking.  
  2. While the pasta is boiling you can grill whole tomatoes and dice them up. Just keep checking the pasta from time to time to make sure it’s not sticking.
  3. Next, heat oil in a pan and toss in chopped garlic and mushrooms with crushed red pepper.
  4. Add roasted and diced tomatoes and cook till they are mushy.
  5. Season the now cooked sauce with salt and a dash of lemon juice.
  6. Drain the now boiled pasta and add it to the sauce. Mix everything well.
  7. Transfer your delicious pasta to a bowl and garnish with some chopped black olives and chopped basil.  

The aroma is so enticing that your neighbours might come and ask, “What’s cooking”?
