CABBAGE CRANBERRY SALAD

Salad lovers are so many but ones that innovate not so many! Try stirring up this flavourful Cabbage Cranberry Salad and introduce a new treat to your healthy eating.

QUANTITY INGREDIENT
1/4 Cup White Cabbage, Shredded
1/4 Cup Purple Cabbage, Shredded
1/4 Cup Onions, Sliced
1/4 Cup Sliced Cucumbers
1/4 Cup Del Monte Cranberries
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
1 TBSP White Sesame Seeds
1 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
1 TBSP Del Monte Olive Oil
5 TBSP Cilantro, Chopped
2 TBSP Coriander Leaves
2 TBSP Sun Flower Seeds
2 TBSP Almond Slices
1.5 TBSP Soy Sauce

Method

 
  1. Place the vegetables in a salad bowl. Add cranberries, minced garlic, coriander leaves into the bowl, toss well.
  2. To make the salad dressing add apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, and cilantro into a bottle with tight closing lid. Shake vigorously for few minutes until all ingredients blend well into each other. Dressing ready. You can add little pepper and salt to the dressing as well.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad, toss gently.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds, sun flower seeds and sliced almonds on top.
  5. Serve immediately.
