PRUNE ENERGY BALLS

Made with easily available and nutritious ingredients, these no-bake energy balls make a great on-the-go snack and even breakfast. FYI, Prunes are natural sweeteners and help you reduce calories without losing flavour. Make a batch this weekend and get rid of your snack dilemma.

Ingredients

1 ½ Cups Del Monte Dried Prunes
1 Cup Almonds
2 TBSP Chia Seeds
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Coconut
1/2 TBSP Sea Salt

Method

  1. In a food processor, add the almonds and pulse till they turn into a fine meal.
  2. Add the dried prunes, chia seeds and salt and pulse till a dough forms.
  3. Wet your hands slightly and shape 16-18 balls. Roll the balls in shredded coconut. Store in an airtight container.

Skipping breakfast...no more!
