Schezwan Olives 

Enjoy tangy Del Monte olives with a spicy punch! Simply marinate them in this delightful schezwan sauce and you’ll have the starters ready for your big Chinese dinner in no time.


1/2 cup Del Monte Pitted Green Olives
1/2 cup Del Monte Pitted Black Olives
1/4 cup Del Monte Schezwan Sauce
6 cloves chopped garlic
1/4 cup Del Monte Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 lemon (juiced)
1 tbsp chopped spring onion green


  1. Start with the marinade. Whisk schezwan sauce, chopped garlic, olive oil and lemon juice together till the flavours are nicely blended.

  2. Time for the main ingredient! Add the Del Monte Olives to the marinade and mix well to coat them evenly.

  3. The olives will need to stay in the fridge for at least an hour, after which they will be ready to serve!
  4. Just before serving, garnish the olives with chopped spring onion greens.

An easy way to make sure the olives absorb the flavours better is by preparing the dish a day or two in advance and storing it in the fridge.
