No-Knead Olive Bread 

A crispy crust with tons of flavour, this quick, no knead bread is the perfect appetiser with any cuisine. The chewy crumb and the rich, briny flavour of Del Monte Green Olives will make you relish every bite of this freshly baked bread.

Ingredients
2 cups

Luke warm water

1 tsp

sugar

1 cup

Del Monte Green Olives

2 tsp

Garlic powder

2 tsp

Dried mixed herbs

2 tbsp

Del Monte Olive Oil/butter

2 & 1/2 tsp

active dry yeast

4 & 1/2 cups

all-purpose flour

Method
  1. To prepare the bread, first add water, yeast and sugar in a bowl.

  2. Then keep it aside for 10 minutes for the yeast to bloom.

  3. After it’s ready, add all-purpose flour, Del Monte Green Olives, garlic powder and dried mixed herbs in the bowl and bring everything together.

  4. Now cover the bowl and keep aside for an hour.

  5. Take an 8 inch cast iron skillet and grease it with 1 tbsp of Del Monte Olive Oil to add some flavour.

  6. After your dough’s set, transfer the dough into the skillet like a loaf. Cover it and keep it aside for 30 more minutes.

  7. It’s almost time for baking! Drizzle 1 tbsp of DelMonte Olive Oil on top of the loaf and sprinkle some more dried herbs.

  8. Preheat your oven to 200 degree C.

  9. You can now start baking by putting your skillet in for 30-35 minutes.

  10. Once your bread is golden brown, remove the loaf from the oven and cool.

  11. Cut into slices and serve hot and crispy!
