PINEAPPLE BASIL GRANITA
Make this delicious summer treat, pineapple basil granita with Del Monte pineapple slices, fresh basil leaves, water, vanilla, and lemon juice.

Cup Fresh Basil Leaves

Cup Lime Juice
Method
- Add pineapple slices, water and sugar to a saucepan. Bring it to a boil, and then simmer for 15-20 minutes till the pineapple slices are soft.
- Add basil leaves and mix.
- Switch off the flame and use an immersion blender to blend till smooth.
- Pour into a freezer friendly container and freeze for up to 8 hours.
- Remove the container from the freezer, and use a fork to scrape off the ice. Keep scraping till all the granita is scraped off and resembles tiny bits of frozen ice.
- Scoop and serve immediately.
